Will gas powered cars become dust collecting fossils?

I love cars. I’m all for green/hydrogen/electric/alternative fuel cars, and know that they will eventually take over gas powered cars in the future. My question is this: what will happen to all the great gas powered cars? I’m talking about 350 Chevy’s, V8 bmw’s, 3.2 liter porches, rear wheel drive muscle. Stored in museums? Increase or decrease in value? Will we still be able to drive these beasts in 10 or 20 years? What are your thoughts?

10/20 years yes theyll be around. hybrids are starting to take over. once they really do and that technology gets way better the turn to hydrogen fuel cell stuff will begin. as a honda designer said, ‘hybrid tec is the bridge to hydrogen’

I think China is a model to go by. As population increases and resources are depleted, what we will eventually wind up with is everyone riding bikes to get to yes, a car museum.

Actually, I love to see them in the museum. That would means better environment. If people continue to reduce the pollution, gas powered cars would be left in the museum. Electric car might be the next-generation car for the future. You may check my link for electric car. It really describes about its advantage.

yes they will eventually.

we will go into electric. hydrogen isn’t really as efficient as electric.

your already starting to see electric cars come onto the world stage.

look up the tesla roadster. tesla is an electric car manufacturer and the roadster is their first model ever. last month or so, they released a prototype for their newer 7 seater sedan which is supposed to compete with the bmw 3 series.

have you ever heard of the ssc ultimate aero? its the fastest production car in the world. now its manufactures are planning on making an electric version of it.

even dodge has has a prototype electric sports car called the dodge circuit.

we will probably be able to drive them, its just that gasoline will be rare and expensive.

mitsubishi is also gonna release an electric car and everyone knows about the chevy volt

did you know you can even convert any gasoline car into an electric car? i wanna learn to do that and MAYBE make a business out of it!
